2) Once your user account is created, enter your establishment, via the Add an establishment button.

3) Carry out your own self-audit to assess your establishment's compliance with each of the EU Ecolabel criteria.

4) Find practical tools to manage and measure the progress of your EU Ecolabel project.

  • These include detailed explanation of the EU Ecolabel criteria, specific case studies,
  • online self-audit,
  • design and management of an action plan,
  • monitoring energy and water consumption,
  • downloadable templates for documentation of compliance,
  • online backup of your certification application file, and submission of the certification application to your competent body if you choose this option.
  • Once your establishment is certified you can create an information sheet to ensure that your establishment appears on the map showing certified accommodations that is accessible via the Certified Establishments list on the public website.

A series of webinars will be held in 2017 to launch the Ecolabel Toolbox.

  •  Tourist accommodations that are already certified under the EU Ecolabel
  • Tourist accommodations that are not yet certified and would like to find out more about the EU Ecolabel
  • Advisory and territorial bodies (chambers of commerce, tourism offices, sustainable development departments of hotel chains, etc.)
