35 - District heating/cooling and cooling from cogeneration (up to 4 points)

(a)


The heating and/or cooling of the tourist accommodation shall be provided by efficient district heating or cooling system. For the purposes of the EU Ecolabel, this is defined as follows: a district heating or cooling system using at least 50 % renewable energy, 50 % waste heat, 75 % cogenerated heat or 50 % of a combination of such energy and heat; as defined by Directive 2012/27/EU (2 points).

(b)


Cooling of the tourist accommodation shall be provided by a high efficiency cogeneration unit according to Directive 2012/27/EU (2 points).
